Founded in the Rocky Mountain Presbytery, Fathers in the Field seeks to rekindle and establish the spirit of boys who have been abandoned by their fathers; mentoring them one-on-one in life skills through outdoor activities, and by sharing a Christian understanding of our Heavenly Father’s love and sacrifice for His children. As a Christian nonprofit organization, Feed My Starving Children is called to feed God’s starving children hungry in body and spirit. “We want to reach everyone, until ALL are fed.” This means reaching the hard-to-reach people and places, the “least of these.” Contact Deer Creek Church for information on their work with this ministry or the ministry directly: https://www.fmsc.org
Founded in the Rocky Mountain Presbytery, MB is an arts and education evangelistic mission to villages south of Innsbruck, Austria. Christian musical groups (college, church, and professional), visual artists, and educators travel every other year and work in the schools, churches and communities of the Tyrolean region. The Refuge and Turning Point are support groups for survivors of domestic violence (physical or emotional) and batterers. One in four women have experienced domestic abuse in their lifetime, and God calls his people to protect the oppressed. The Refuge combines mentoring and group support to help women understand abuse biblically, achieve safety, find healing in Christ, and learn how to establish new patterns. The Toy Lending Library provides a wide variety of toys that may be checked out and enjoyed by children ages one to four years. Modeled after an Australian outreach, the Toy Library has been helpful in providing service to young families mostly unconnected to the church.
